Team Gaspari Shavis Higa & Ava Cowan Earn Their IFBB Pro Cards
Two members of Team Gaspari earned IFBB Pro Cards this weekend at the 2009 NPC Nationals this past weekend in Hollywood, Fl. Shavis Higa dominated the welter weight class in men's bodybuilding with clean lines, great proportion, and balanced mass. Shavis made a great decisions by returning to the welter weights and now as a pro could be quite the contender as an IFBB 202 & Under competitor should he decide to do so. All he needs is some more mass and he could definitely make a strong impact.
New Team Gaspari athlete Ava Cowan continued her momentum after earning top class and overall honors at the NPC Eastern USA into the Nationals. Her stunning appearance made quite an impact on the judges to earn her top honors in the figure C class. Issac Hind from Hardbody News couldn't have said it better here "No disrespect to the women in this large and competitive class but Ava Cowan was the star here. She has an incredible physique and it's already at a pro level." Expect to see Ava's journey to the Nationals unfold in the coming weeks on Gaspari TV!
