Hurricane Sandy
11/02/2012
Hey everybody. I hope all is well and the weekend is looking good for you. I know many of my east coast friends cannot say that all is well with the devastation and destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy. Looking at the videos from the news it is hard to believe how much is lost in places like New Jersey and New York. It looks like the Jersey Shore is a total loss. I was there a couple months ago and cannot even recognize it anymore. And with nearly $50 billion worth in damage caused in the U.S. alone it is one of the costliest storms in history. Nearly 100 fatalities were caused. I'm sure that number will continue to rise as well. My prayers go out to all the families that has lost someone. Several families are still without power and will continue to be without power for the next couple of days. Needless to say help is needed for the victims. Donations can be made online to The American Red Cross as well as many other organizations. I urge everybody to go and make a donation. Anything can help. At the very least pray for all of those stuggling to survive during these hard times. These are the times when we all have to come together. Stay strong my east coast friends! Always remember to FIght To WIn!!
