It's been a full two weeks of the Reebok Crossfit open, only 3 more weeks to go!! So far both workouts have gone pretty well for me, but all in all, our gym is doing very well. My goal this year is to be on the Team, I think our gym could have a very successful team for Regionals. They take the top 30 teams, and were sitting 6th right now, so we just need to stay there, train through the open, stay healthy and we should be good! The Open workouts have definitely been a bit of surprise this year. Not the first one so much, but 13.2. Which was a 10 minute AMRAP of:
5 shoulder to overhead #115/75
10 deadlifts #115/75
15 Box Jumps 20/24 inch
I only did this once. I got 10 rounds plus 5 STO, and 5 deadlifts. Who knew being good at step aerobics would benefit you in this workout?! We all figured out doing step up's instead of real box jumps will make you go quicker and get ALOT more reps. Who knew?? Anyway, can' wait for 13.3 to come out! We had a ton of people come out and complete it.
