RIP Joe Weider
Whats up everyone, I had a great time this past weekend down in Atlantic City at the World Series of Fighting. Our team had several guys fighting for the promotion, I cornered Kris Mcray in his fight against Villefort. Kris fought up a weight class and it was very exciting Kris ended up losing a split decision that i believed could have gone his way. Either way he showed a ton of heart in there getting rocked with some big strikes to come right back and land some of his own. In the co-main event of the evening my training partner and teammate Marl0n Moreas looked phenomenal against Tyson Nam. Both guys were coming off some big wins over some high profile opponents. Marlon was able to get the TKO two minutes into the first round. His footwork and combinations were on point and he was able to connect with a head kick that rocked Nam and he jumped on him for the finish, we all went crazy it could not have gone any better. I took my wife and kids with me to AC on friday night we told the kids we where on "vacation" they had a blast tearing up the hotel room haha and swimming in the pool at Revel casino. I also took them to the fights, this was there first mma event they went too. At the end of the night they were spent to say the least. Before i say good bye i would like to talk about the passing of a legend in Joe Weider. Even though im not in the sport of body building i am an athlete and i recognize the fact the Joe Weider has had an impact on all athletes around the world. He revolutionized modern day weight lifting, fitness, and body building. I remember being a kid lifting weights in my basement and the plates had Weider on them. That is all from me today i will talk to you all soon.......Rest in Peace Joe Weider!
