Well guys, I'm writing this week's blog in Metro Fitness in Worthington, Ohio. I have just taken a break from filming for the third day of balls to the walls real live Y3T training that Bodybuilding.com and Gaspari Nutrition are bringing you absolutely free!!!!!!
You have know idea what the hell this video series is going to look like once it's all done and dusted BUT it's going to be Amazing!!!
I arrived in Columbus at around 1.30pm on Sunday with my athlete Brandon Curry. As soon as we hit town we went straight to the gym to train Chest and Triceps before going to the store to get the necessary foods needed for Brandon's prep for the final run into the event.
From there it was check in time at the hotel and before I knew it, it was way past my bed time! My body and mind were still set in the UK.
Monday morning came and It seemed like I had only slept for minutes before it was time to head out for the first part of the Y3T Video series to take place! WELL you should have seen the location for this first stage of the series!!! It was unreal, talk about hardcore that's not nearly the word to describe this stage set.
It certainly scared the shit out of me; it was a real dungeon like shit pit with spider webs everywhere and what was even worse there was tubs of rat poison all over the floor.
This may sound really unmanly but I don't frigging care. Presently in the UK at the moment the number one film being aired to watch is the Lady in Black. I hate scary movies BUT my kids said "Daddy come on it can't be that bad will you take us to watch it" so I said "Of course" being the hardcore male I am!!!
Well I jumped up more times in fright in that film than I have ever done before, I'm sure everyone thought I was jumped up on SuperPump Max. I was really scared and I had no way of hiding it. My point is that room we were filming in brought back those thoughts and memories I had watching that film. When left alone in that room we were filming in by film crew I'm sure that Bitch from the Lady in Black was staring right at me, I was out that room quicker than you could blink; it was frigging scary to say the least.
However the overall day and experience was just amazing and I'm so excited that you guys will get the chance to see and feel my experience for yourselves.
I have to shoot off right now as I have to get back onto the film set.
I will write another blog tomorrow or Friday so you guys get constant updates to the run in for this years Arnold's Classic and what's going on with me whilst I'm in the City of Columbus.
Take it easy, take care
Neil
