Fueled by GlycoFuse

GlycoFuse has been a integral part of my workout routine since it hit the market. On my days headed to the CrossFit box I prefer the strawberry kiwi flavor, on training runs I like to mix it up with the orange mango twist. But when it comes to race day, the only option in my mind is the unflavored edition. WHY?

When I am racing most of the time it's for hours not minutes. Glycofuse is great because I can run on it without the bloat associated with other drinks. When running ultra distance events, stomach issues can make or break your day. Normally on race day I consume many bars, gels, and gummies all of which are sweet, if I topped it off with another sweet product it would put me over the edge. However, those electrolytes are key to race day performance, thus why I opt for the unflavored on race day. Unflavored also lets me add in Aminolast if I need a kick of BCAA's while running without making a crazy flavor. Over the past couple of months I don't know what I would have done without unflavored glycofuse. A canister is definitely packed for all my endurance endeavors. Next up is a 50K trail run this weekend as part of training for the 2013 World's Toughest Mudder!
