Just wanted to post a short blog on what’s been going on this week. As everyone knows from last week’s post I am five weeks out from North Americans and still on track. Neil is happy with my weekly progress and is monitoring my weight on a daily basis and also taking a close look at pics via emails several times a week. The gyms are staying busy and we are quickly approaching the grand opening of our fourth gym in Spring Hill! We are currently laying new flooring throughout and adding TVS on all our cardio pieces. I can’t wait until the build out is done and we can open the doors to the public. We are excited to offer Spring Hill its first full service gym!

On the home front, I am getting my son ready for kindergarten this fall. His report was good at the doctors. They confirmed what we already knew, that we have a smart, and healthy, very active little man on our hands! They are projecting him to be 6’ + and 200+ pounds.

No cavities at the dentist this morning and he lost his first tooth Monday!

Needless to say parenting will probably always be my biggest challenge but there is no bigger reward to see your son growing and thriving! We feel it is so important to keep our son active and are constantly looking for fun ways to “play” and stay healthy. We are fortunate, Aiden loves the outdoors and anything physical. We have been tossing around the idea of enrolling him on a t-ball team or possibly soccer. In the end, his Mom and I both agreed to try gymnastics first. We both feel like not only is it a great foundation to any sport he might want to try in the future but it is also one of the few activities at Aiden’s age that focuses on building strength, flexibility and agility utilizing physical fitness, weight training, and organized instruction. Some great bodybuilders have also started on the gym floor, one being my great friend and training partner,
Flex Lewis. Tuesday was his first class and he loved it!

So that’s it for my proud Papa blog and until next time, train hard and wide open!
