FLEX Online Series – Episode 2, Supplement Program and Back Training

Hey guys. Its late Sunday night. This week I spent a couple of days in Dallas at the Grand Opening of the new GASP destination. I want to congratulate Michael and his team, they are doing big things Texas style to promote the sport of bodybuilding. I had the pleasure of shooting with Per Bernal and meeting lots of new faces as well as seeing friends like Branch Warren and even the boss, Rich Gaspari.

This week, episode two of my Olympia prep series broadcasts on FLEX Online focuses on my Gaspari Nutrition supplement program and back training. I train back with Sean Barber of Team Gaspari / Olympus Gym who is preparing for the upcoming North Americans. You can follow my program right here...



  • 1-1/4 scoops SuperDrive
  • 2 scoops L-Glutamine (10g)
  • 1/2 scoop Glycofuse (12.5g)


  • 2 scoops L-Glutamine (10g)
  • 1 scoop Aminolast
  • 1 scoop Glycofuse (25g)
  • 2 scoops Qualitine (10g) Creatine Monohydrate


  • 1-1/2 scoops Glycofuse (37.5g)
  • 2 scoops L-Glutamine (10g)
  • 1 scoop Aminolast
  • 1 scoop Qualitine (5g) Creatine Monohydrate

POST SHAKE (20 minutes after POST-WORKOUT)

  • 1-1/2 scoops IsoFusion


Pullups - 5 sets rep ranges from 20-10 *Performed at the beginning or end of the workout.

With squeezes occurring with the last 2-3 reps with a semi negative.

High Row Superman Hammer Strength with grip on the outside of the beam

3 sets

20-15 reps

Hammer Strength Low Row

4 sets pyramiding up in weight

10 full range

10 short range

3-5 squeezes holding for a second

Bent over DB rows with head resting on top on incline bench (body parallel to the ground rowing in upright motion)

3 working sets

12-10 reps

Low pulley row with V-bar

4 working sets

15-12 reps

Hyper extensions superman position

Followed by traditional hyper extensions

3-4 working sets

10 superman

10 conventional
