Dig Deep and Work Harder!
At the end of the day, if you’re nailing the nutrition part but not seeing the fitness gains, then perhaps harder work is the answer. It’s so easy to get stuck in a weekly routine, and even though the sweat is pouring down, the body has adapted.
• Despite the fact you’re faithfully sticking to a decent Paleo-type diet without much cheating, and putting in continuous 3 to 5 day splits, that last 20-30lbs is stubborn as can be; work harder.
• Despite the fact you’re religiously trying to keep the circuits full of variation and doing everything you know how to avoid a plateau, that persistent bit of body fat will not retreat; work harder.
• Despite the fact you’re unflinchingly going after more and more complex movements, and increasing the amount of cardio you put in each week, that last pant size is still a bit too snug; then work harder!
Sometimes for adaptation, it takes a load heavier than the body is used to bearing. Sometimes you need to dig a little deeper and give a boost to a healthy diet, a structured workout regimen, and faithful cardio.
