Anavite POWDER REVIEW
04/11/2013

Like I mentioned in my last blog, I am taking powder version of Anavite (AUS NZ Only) now.

Let me tell you it's amazing! You guys live in AUS/NZ should try it and I wish we could buy it in other area...

Here is useful review,

Taste and Mixability 9/10

The flavour that this comes in is orange cooler. To me this tastes just like a berroca. The taste is very good but pretty overpowering if you use a low water dosage. My recommendation is to use 750mls and you will enjoy this. The taste then is enjoyable and refreshing.

One scoop mixes easily in a drink bottle, shaker or glass. In my opinion far easier than taking heaps of pills. There was a little bit of residue left over but nothing to write home about.

Ingredient Profile 10/10

Multivitamin & Multimineral Blend - Anavite features a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals. With an active lifestyle , it is really important to have a good multi. There are good amounts of vitamin C (250mg), magnesium (200mg) and calcium (121mg), which are some of the most important nutrients for athletes.

Beta-Alanine (1600mg) - While beta-alanine is traditionally used in pre-workout supplements, it is included in Anavite for a simple and important reason - beta-alanine supplementation is most beneficial when taken every day. If you only get beta-alanine from your pre-workout powder, then you're probably getting 3 or 4 servings per week. Much of the research on beta-alanine used daily doses for a period of weeks, which is exactly what you'll get from Anavite. Of course, beta-alanine is one of the most beneficial ingredients to enhance athletic performance.

Carnitine-Tartrate (1000mg) - Carnitine is included in Anavite for its ability to improve nitric oxide levels and recovery.

Dosage

Anavite includes several key nutrients just like any Multi Should. While it recommends taking 1-2 servings per day, you'll certainly get a benefit from just one serving. For the full effects of beta-alanine and carnitine, you're better off taking the full two serves split over two intakes during the day. If you take it all at once you will really feel them tingles!!!

For me, I take the first does with meal1 and the second does with the last meal.

Value 9/10

Multivitamin cost really varies. Each company now has their own particular "push" to make them different so the profiles will always be similar, however dosage will be different. I think this is excellent value for money.

Gaspari Anavite 60 serves

Inner Armour - 30 serves

Pharma Freak Vita Freak - 30 serves

MusclePharm Amour V - 45 servings.

So really it is there or there abouts price wise, however it does contain Carnitine and Beta Alanine! Even if you do a double serving each day (one in morning and evening) you still get pretty good value for money.

Overall 9/10

I think we will see more and more powder form products come out. They are easier to take and often taste bloody good. This one in particular is easy to take and tastes bloody good. All the other multis available you have to take 2+ pills. This mixes effortlessly in a drink bottle or shaker.

The inclusion of beta alanine is a biggies for me. There is some very good research that definitely states that there is definite improvements from taking beta alanine daily as opposed to 3-4 times a week like you would normally get from your pre workouts. This will surely see an improvement in your strength.

Would I buy this again. YES
