I’m on the way home from Vegas after another amazing Olympia weekend. I sit on the plane feeling incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to compete in this great event and share the stage with the best of the best in the Bikini division. I say it every year, but I must say it again, it is really awe-inspiring to see my fellow Bikini Olympia athletes take the stage at their best. There is something about the big stage, lights and beautiful production that makes each women shine a little brighter. ;-) I love that.
This 2012 Bikini Olympia I was awarded 5th place! I am thrilled and incredibly grateful. This division just keeps growing and the athletes keep getting better , so to be considered among the top is not something I take for granted.
One of the highlights of my weekend was having my family at the Olympia watching me compete for the first time ever. My parents, sister and brother-in-law cheered me on through prejudging and finals and helped me to celebrate after. There's nothing like be surrounded by the love of your family during these big moments.
Speaking of being surrounded by love, thank YOU for all the love and support. Your notes, emails, tweets and messages fueled my smile all weekend.

Okay...time to catch a few much needed zzz's before we land back home in Orlando. Gotta sleep now, because as soon as we arrive home, I begin my final week prep for the Sheru Classic in India next Saturday, October 6th! Should be another amazing week ahead. ;-)
