This past weekend, I headed down to South Beach with four fab ladies for a girl's weekend. Each day, we had fitness as a part of the agenda. While I assumed that we would head to the hotel gym or maybe do a beach bootcamp, we instead opted for a good ole infomercial workout DVD that my sis-in-law brought along. I expected it to be a fun, good times workout that wouldn't really challenge me. BUT, to my surprise, it was actually serious business. No, it wasn't Insanity or P90x. It was the BRAZIL BUTT LIFT Workout.
Don't laugh. It really was TOUGH! I was pouring with sweat, and I could barely walk up the stairs later that evening. (I had downed my entire shaker of Aminolast within the first 15 minutes!)
For 30 minutes straight, you are jumping, lunging, squatting, booty shaking and shoulder shimmying. (The booty drums was our favorite move!) This workout is not for someone new to exercise or without coordination. But, if you are fit and don't have two left feet, this is a great DVD to have on hand for a do-anywhere cardio blast that engages the entire lower body...especially the booty. It's a perfect take along for all of your summer vacays! I plan to order my own copy this week!
