Ava Cowan Wins the 2009 NPC Eastern USA Figure Overall!
It was a cold and rainy weekend in the Big Apple this past weekend but this did not prevent a star from being reborn. Ava Cowan took the stage at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center by storm to win both the figure B class and then the overall title at the NPC Eastern USA Championships. With over 200 athletes competing in front of sold out and boisterous New York City crowd Ava faced tough competition. Adorning a beautifully jeweled green and yellow stoned bikini her physique was a standout with proportioned muscle, graceful lines, perfect symmetry, and no one could deny just how glamorous she was.
Ava's return to the NPC figure stage was marked in triumph as she now sets her sites on competing at the NPC NationalBodybuilding, Figure, and Bikini Championships this weekend in Hollywood, Florida. Gaspari Nutrition is proud to have another fierce competitor aboard on Team Gaspari as ascends the ranks to hopefully gain IFBB Pro Figure card.
