Okay…if you’ve read my blogs before, you know that I have a serious sweet tooth. I could swear off pizza for the rest of my life, but a chocolate-free existence sounds pretty terrible to me. However, I am fully aware that a daily Godiva habit isn’t the way to go either. (Goodbye, abdominals!) While a square of dark chocolate is a part of my life every once in a while, I satisfy my cravings with fun creations using Gaspari Nutrition’s
MyoFusion Elite protein series Chocolate. (Thank you, flavor formulation team!) Anyway… my new favorite guilt-free indulgence was inspired by a creation by Allison Frahn on
FitnessRxWomen.com – Chocolate Avocado Mousse (By the way, Alli’s recipes ROCK. Browse through all of her slim and satisfying creations
HERE.) I made a few small changes to the recipe, including make it accommodate my second love…peanut butter. Give it a try.

MyoFusion CHOCOLATE PB PUDDING
Makes 3 servings
For 1/3 of recipe: 225 calories |18g protein | 10g carbs |13g fat
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 scoop Myofusion Elite Chocolate protein powder
1 scoop Myofusion Elite Peanut Butter Cookie Dough protein powder
2 ripe medium-sized avocados (about 1-1/2 cups)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Strawberries for garnish
HOW TO:
Remove the skin and pit from the avocados. Either blend in a food processor until creamy, or just mash it up in a bowl with a fork. (It will be a little chunky, but it’s still good). Add in all other ingredients and blend (or stir) until the mixture is smooth.
Give it a taste. Add your sweetener of choice, if you like. (I didn’t think it was necessary).
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, if you would like it cool. It will hold up well in the fridge for about 24 hours. After that, dump it and make a fresh batch.
Until next time—keep pushing toward your best!
