Hey all! Is it Friday again? I never get tired of seeing Friday arrive after a long week. I hope you all have some exciting plans for this weekend, cause remember in only a couple days It will be Monday again and that means back to work. So live it up. make this weekend a good one.
Lately I have been reflecting back on how crazy this last couple of years has been for me. And when I say crazy I mean crazy in a good way. What, 2 years ago the ESPN piece about my father aired on tv. First leading me to sign with a huge fight promotion, Bellator, that allows me to fight some of the best people in the world. Then I get the chance to work with some great people at Gaspari Nutrition when they agree to be my biggest sponsor by far. Soon after that I would meet the woman, Patricia, who would go on to be my wife and most important person in my life. We met on facebook of all places. And we will be getting married this August! And she convinced us to get a dog! Stella the boxer. Which is a small change in our life but one I'm very glad we did. Trish has flipped my life on it's head and I'm so glad she did. All these changes has given me so much to be thankful for. Sometimes I think many of us focus more on the negative things that happen in our daily life and take for granted the positive things that happen to us. I know I do. And I need to stop doing that. Thank you Trish for bringing so much love and excitement into my life. Thank you Gaspari for trusting me enough to attach your brand to my name. Thank you Bellator for taking a chance on a tough, but unproven fighter. Thank you ESPN and Danny Arruda for getting all of this started in my life. Thank you to all the friends I have made along my life's journey. And thank you to all my family that I still have and have lost over the years for loving me and supporting me in all that I do. And thank you for reading my blog and allowing me to speak my mind. FTW my friends in all that you do!
